How do you block websites in Chrome?
It’s good to know that Google Chrome doesn’t have a blocking option. You will need a special plug-in that is integrated with the above-mentioned browser – Block Site. This extension offers, among others the ability to block websites, blocking pages containing specific keywords in the address, restricting access to websites by introducing an additional layer, e.g. password or creating white lists.

In the next window select Extensions and then Options. In the next tab in the List of blocked sites field, enter the addresses of the sites that will now be blocked by Google Chrome.
After adding the selected page that Google Chrome will block, the redirect to option appears. Thanks to this, by entering the address of the blocked page, you will be transferred to the one you entered in the redirection options each time. A very practical option. After making changes, you can additionally protect it with a password – to do this go to the Authentication tab, select Enable authentication and enter the password by confirming with the Set password button. Done, you’ve just blocked unwanted sites.
You probably wonder what gives you password settings? Well, it will put a protective layer on the extension settings.
